Style Trend: Baroque Prints

Some have called this style Pajama Pants and the pattern Porcelain Print. I will stick with more elegant Baroque - thank you very much! Made widely popular by Gianni Versace in the 90s, the baroque prints are making a huge comeback (although they never completely went away!).
I found this pretty pair of pants (the blue is so very French!) at Forever 21 under $25! Rest of the outfit simply followed it!

If you want a skinnier version of Baroque print pants, Nine West, Joe's Jeans and Robert Rodriguez have them in very chic black and white!

Lookbook: How To Wear Print On Print

Today I am little bit out of my comfort zone. The riotous print-on-print is usually not my style, but I feel when we push our style envelope we might surprise ourselves! This print on print outfit is fun and youthful and surprisingly, the bold prints don't clash as much as they flow harmoniously. The key is to keep the prints that do not overwhelm each other yet stand out individually.
This pair of slouchy pants have a fun Aztec print, pockets and the ruched front and I love the bohemian, casual vibe of them. (See HERE to see another way to style these pants) The shirt was tailored for me by the neighborhood tailoring boutique when I visited India recently. I loved this print as soon as I laid my eyes on it and asked them to make a shirt out of it for me! How fancy to get a shirt made out JUST FOR YOU! I miss the tailors of India:-)
Great option Here and Here
There is no rules to wear print on print - just keep the flow of the print even. You can keep the accessories neutral or take it up another notch by accessorizing a screaming statement piece of bag or necklace with it. Choice is yours, it is your style after all!

Spring Color Blocking

Cobalt, cerulean, indigo or royal blue - whatever you call the sophisticated, saturated, deep shade of blue, it remains the top color for Spring/Summer every year. Reminding us of oceans and skies and pleasant cool breeze, it is the color of peace and tranquility. To play up the moodiness of blue, try color blocking with bright variations of blue - icy mint, sapphire and turquoise, with a playful splash of coral, fuchsia and chartreuse, and you get today's outfit!
Top - JollyChic.com (It was originally as two-piece jacket and top combination, but I decided to just wear the top and leave the jacket for another outfit)
Good option - Mango

These color block sandals are from Avon - yes, the same company you trust for makeup, hair and skincare products!! They have some great Spring pieces for your wardrobe - go check them out here!
The bag is from Jessica Simpson via TJMaxx, a great option is this one for just $22!
Minty Nails (excuse my fugly fingers!)
Chain Link Bracelet - Sway Chic (Options - Splurge/Afford/Steal)
Jade ring - old, a great option HERE
Necklace - Lorraine Tyne Jewelry, last seen HERE
