 White pants after Labor Day? Someone alert the Fashion Police!! LOL! The Summer of 2014 is about to end (Sept 22 is first official day of Fall!) but I am still not over with the preppy looks that a pair of white pants/jeans provide! These white chinos from JCrew is a summer staple that can very well go into fall with cable knit sweaters and ankle boots. These chino pants fit true to size and are are thick enough to avoid the transparent-white pants look! I love them!

 If you visit my blog regularly, you would know by now that I am a big fan of scarves. Cozy Up With The Tiger

Animal pints are the new black! Specially during fall/winter. I love the little dose of leopard print in my outfit via a bag or a shoe, but today I am taking a plunge with this bold animal print sweater. I have been seeing a lots of styles this year (like this, this) where the tiger face peeks out of spots - in sweaters and sweathsirts and when I found this sweater in Junior section of Target for under $25, I gave in to my animal instincts! BTW, I got this is Medium size but it runs little big. I love the slouchy, cozy-comfy vibe though!

Lookbook: Plaid, Stripes And A Pretty Hat

Messy hair, don't care - because I have a pretty hat:-) This boiled wool hat from Scala (Available at hartfordyork.com) is my new favorite headgear these days! The color, fit and style - it all speaks to my style.  These hats are made by California based Dorfman Pacific, which is one of the largest full-line, in-stock headwear companies in the world. The eco-friendly process of altering the material eliminates the usage of harsh chemicals while effectively shrinking the wool to make stylish, warm and well fitting hats and winter accessories. BTW, if you didn't know how to determine your hat size (seriously I didn't know, and always bought hats by trying them on, thus missing out on online deals) you gotta watch this video! I measured my head and got the perfect size for my hat!

Lookbook: Basic Instincts

Sometimes all you need are basics. In life and in style. Like my outfit today. It is the answer for my 'I-am-not-sure-what-to-wear-today' question. A simple pair of basic blue skinnies (these Liverpool Jeans Co pair is my wardrobe workhorse!) and a white shirt with micro polka dots are my updated basics. Splash of bright yellow via a belt and not-so-plain pumps in basic black and white, I now know what to wear. Absolutely!
