Endless Summer With Malibu Island Spiced #GlamIslandSpiced

What do you do after you  have just unpacked from a week long relaxing vacation? To keep the after-vacay glow alive, you get on a boat for a summer cruise in NYC!! Well, exactly that's happened to me when I was invited alongside some other fabulous NYC bloggers to partake in a stylish summer cruise at the East River yesterday! We sailed across the river under a glowing setting sun, clear skies and gentle breeze! Malibu Island Spiced was the beverage of choice! With just 70 calories it is meant  for you to keep the waistline in check and enjoy the great flavor! Like having your cake and eat it too (or having your 'drink' and drink it too!!)

I made some new blogger fiends (hey Yakini from RealityTvFashion!) and we all had fun discussing fashion and style trends we would see this Fall! From deep jewel tones to animal prints, to African prints to black and white colorblocking - everybody had fab ideas how they would glam up for Fall!
After an amazing cruise, we jumped ship to head to Beekman Beer Garden Beach Club - with gorgeous Manhattan Bridge views, lively atmosphere great food and delicious and light Malibu Island Spiced (with pretty umbrellas of course!) A great way to end a wonderful evening!

Style Trend: Mod Dresses

There is something very confident, über chic and somewhat innocent in a mod dress. Their above the knee length is sexy, the clean, structured lines are ladylike and the style is old and modern at the same time! I love this style on everyone , be a liitle girl or her mom! No matter what shape, size or figure you have, you can never go wrong with a mod dress. This year mod dresses have come back with a bang. Shift, sheath or lose drape,a chic mod dress can is as versatile as err a mod dress. As the cliche saying goes -Take it to work, go to an event and bring back to dinner all in one day!

How To Wear A Waist- Tie Shirt

Already bored of the good old tank top for the summer? Try the waist-tie shirts. Cool, carefree and casually chic- a tie waist shirt is a good alternative for a T-shirt or a buttoned up shirt. Update a denim skirt look like Eva Mendes and Kirsten Dunst or style it with a jeans like Selena Gomez and Sofia Vergara. Or make a pair of shorts like million bucks like Jennifer Lopez and Taylor Swift. Any which way you style a waist tie shirt, you are sure to secure the fashionista title with a stylish knot!

To incorporate this popular summer trend in your wardrobe, choose form a 70s style chambray shirt or this season's hottest trend - chiffon and silk prints. Print or solid, neutral or bright, make a bow or leave the ends loose-  options are endless! Here are some of my favorites-

1. Paisley print waist-tie shirt - luisaviaroma.com
2. Multicolor waist -tie shirt - Macy's
3. Flower print waist -tie shirt - Forever 21

 1. Red waist-tie shirt - Lord & Taylor
2. Cropped black waist-tie shirt - ASOS
3. Yellow peek a boo shoulder waist-tie shirt - 2020ave.com
4. Chambray waist-tie shirt - Forever21

See anything that has you up in the knots??
