Full disclosure: I wore this outfit under a black wool coat last week (when weather was still warm enough to take an outdoor picture!) This week is it is teeth clattering cold and I couldn't have worn any shoes sans socks outside, even for a quick click!
Coming back to this look, I love a crisp, button front shirt - it is a must have, staple piece in any wardrobe (Hey, Tim Gunn agrees!) It is so versatile and the longer back makes it easy to dress down with a pair of leggings and tall boots! I am planning to pair it with the faux leather jeans for a night out!
This floral sweatshirt is also one of my long lasting purchase that I can wear all year around (last worn here). I am a big fan of black and white brush strokes floral print so this will go well with some of my existing pieces. Another staple in my wardrobe (which you may have seen many times on the blog too) - these Nine West Flax pumps in mint green. They have 3.5 inch heel that makes them perfect for longer wear (4 is usually my limit when it comes to wearing heel for more than an hour!) and they look very sleek and polished with anything. If you want to have a mint pumps for Spring/Summer - go for it, they are back in stock!!
