Thanksgiving Weekend Outfit: Wrap Cardigan, Chinese Collar Necklace, Peep Toe Booties

I had a perfect, relaxing, I-have-so-much-to-be-thankful-for, happy weekend, and hope you all did too. The culinary indulgence during Thanksgiving is all but natural! Therefore (fashion-wise) after a finger licking yummy Thanksgiving dinner you need an outfit that can enable you to relax for the pictures without sucking your tummy in! Think Pink: October Is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Love pink? This entire month you even have a reason to wear pink proudly. October is the breast cancer awareness month and you can show your solidarity against the disease and with the resolution to find the cure and defeat breast cancer. Always In Style - Long Sleeves Shift Dress

This is one of outfits I wore to New York Fashion Week (read my Fashion Week articles HERE). A shimmery shift dress with simple shoes and even simpler accessories. I have been in love with Mad Men's Jessica Paré's black dress with flowing bell sleeves and just above the knee hemline (remember 'Zou Bisou Bisou') and was looking for a similar shift dress (may be little longer hem) for so long! Finally at Marshalls this Tahari dress caught my eye - very similar cut and feel, and for $80 - I think it is a good investment. I intend to wear it all through fall winter with tights and tall boots!

Old Navy Stages Fashion Show For All With Fit For Fall Rockstar Jeans

...and I got to walk the Runway in Bryant Park!! Yes, I rocked the catwalk, hand-on-the-hip, flip-the-hair and all! It was so much fun sashaying the runway with some of the awesomest bloggers and watch everybody give their own spin to Old Navy rockstar jeans. The jeans comes in 31 shades and fits like a dream. I picked up a black jeans that I can't get enough of. Black on black with some gold accessories and I am ready for a night out in town!

With us, hundreds of women of all sizes and shapes strutted their stuff for Old Navy Show, and everybody walked away with a great pair of Rockstar Jeans and an amazing memory of walking the runway in New York City! Here are some of the pictures from the event which was hosted by Jenny McCarthy.

Badgley Mischka Spring 2013 at New York Fashion Week

Badgley Mischka presented their Spring 2013 collection at the largest NYFW tent called theatre today. Lots of organza and tulle gowns, tweed and boucle jackets, satin and lace gowns and evening dresses in very delicate hues of lilac, celadon, blush and dove grey and even deep mulberry! The showstopper coral organza and tulle gown was ethereal! The collection surely had the award seasons in mind as lots of gowns looked so ready to be snagged by celebrity stylists for the red carpet!
