Style-Delights Featured On IFB Links a la Mode Roundup!

Glad to report that Style-Delights post '5 Handbags that will suffice' was featured today on Independent Fashion Bloggers weekly round up of 20 blog posts! BTW, I do not announce my Links a la Mode appearances for the sake of tooting my own horn. Here we are, the first day of March - can you believe it? Spring will officially start this month, flowers will start to bloom (we hope!) and winter will finally start to let us out of it's icy grip. This week's Links a la Mode selections run the gamut from fashion week round ups to DIY projects and runway color inspirations.
A friendly reminder to all of you who graciously submit your posts for LALM: If your post is chosen for the round up, you must post the code from this post onto your own blog. I don't know about all of you, but I've been ready for spring since about, mmm, December. I love cold weather, I love snow, I love bundling up - but I saw so many amazing trends and looks during September's fashion week that I could hardly wait to wear. At least in New York, it seems like winter barely even arrived this year. Today for example, it's about 60 degrees in Manhattan! Everywhere people are in their shirtsleeves and sunglasses, it feels and awful lot like spring is already here.

From the looks of this week's Links a La Mode submissions, I'm not the only one with spring fashion fever. There were so many posts about trends and looks we'll all be embracing - or are already! From printed pants to neon bags, ladylike dresses and the upcoming Marni for H&M collection - and of course some inspiring DIY projects - everything's coming up floral! Check out this week's inspiring and fashionable posts, and as always, thank you for the wonderful submissions!

This has been a crazy week in New York City - New York Fashion Week brought out the fashionable masses, from shows to parties to the streets and of course the internet. Through social media and our favorite fashion outlets like Style.com and New York Magazine, we can keep up with collections almost instantaneously.

Even though January is one brutal cold month in Michigan, it happens to be one of my favorites. Just wanted to share this with you all....

Things Are Gonna Change... I Can Feel It!

On Monday morning, my life will change. I am having my muffin top and all of my shiny silver stretch marks removed from my fleshy, live-giving form. I'm having plastic surgery, a tummy tuck to be exact, and yes I'm talking right out loud about it. This decision has had my head in a tizzy fashion wise, sending me searching for some fashion guidance to compliment my new figure. I've really been inspired by nostalgic what-comes-around-goes-around fashion trends, feel good fashion and a variety of "Top (insert number here)" lists. 90's trends seem to be popular in the fashion blogosphere; you kids are talking about sheer clothes, color blocking and threads ripped to shreds. I'm really appreciating the inspirational instruction given by all you clever e-journalists. We've been instructed on how and what to wear for the season, how to pamper little ol' you and feel good about it too!
