Spring / Summer Must Have - Striped Linen Midi Dress

When the temperature rises, day is sunny and bright and you want your outfit to breathe, there is nothing better than a dress made with natural fabric like cotton or linen. I love a classic striped linen dress because they just feel chic, feminine and reminiscent of summer breeze and picnics. This striped linen midi dress caught my eye the other day. It is well made, a true midi length, has pockets in the front and fit is very comfortable with loose dolman sleeves.

Lookbook : Cropped Wide Leg Pants + Stripes + Gucci Princetown Mules Dupes

Wide legged style and cropped length has been a really popular trend in pants and jeans for past couple seasons. I love wide legged style because it makes the waist look cinched-in and smaller. These raspberry red wide legged cropped chino is from last season at J.Crew , but this Spring also, they have good a pretty cool wide legged pants in red! (Also available here). I love to wear these sailor pants with nautical stripes for a preppy Spring/Summer look. 

These Kona Loafer Mules are probably one of the most worn pair of shoes in my closet last summer. This Gucci mule dupe is so comfortable and looks very chic for the fraction of the designer loafer cost! It is back in stock at Target and now comes in white too!

 I can't praise my Cult Gaia Bamboo Ark bag enough. This is super fun, chic carry all with surprisingly enough room for my wallet, keys and even sunglasses case! It is back in stock here and here! It's inexpensive dupe is also available here.

Spring/Summer Must Have - White Cotton Eyelet Dresses

Trends come and go, but timeless styles last forever. This is specially true for a white eyelet dress. Year after year, every spring and summer, white dresses in eyelet fabric in every style - from shirt dress to midi, to little white dress style - are always in. I love the simplicity and sophistication of white eyelet fabric. Growing up in hot India, this was our go-to summer fabric, except that we used to call it Lucknow Chikan or Chikankari fabric! This fabric invokes the feeling of nostalgia and is super comfortable come warmer months. I got this dress last year from eShakti, got it customized to have Peter Pan collar. I love a shirt ollar or Mandarin collar too on a white eyelet shirtdress. Here are some of my favorite ones this season!

I love my Cult Gaia Ark Bag (also in small size) When I got it couple years ago, it was wildly popular new it bag and I was not little skeptical if after couple of years, it will look dated. But I was worrying for nothing because this bag is so timeless and looks good with almost any Spring/Summer outfit! I remember for some time Cult Gaia couldn't keep it in stock! Now many other retailers have inexpensive version of this bag - like this one!
