One of my most favorite travel memories is from our trip to Amsterdam, specifically from the Keukenhof tulip gardens. Rows upon rows of bright, cheerful flowers make you feel like you are in a fairytale. I wish I could go there every year during tulip season. But its not possible obviously. So when I found out about that there is a tulip festival at Holland Ridge Farms in Cream Ridge New Jersey, I had to check it out. I really loved the fact that it is just over an hour drive away from my town as well as from other NYC suburbs/metro area neighborhoods. This farm is over 140 acres and boasts of 120 variety of tulip bulbs from Holland itself. We got lucky that the day was overcast and not very hot, and the tulips were in full bloom. My advice , if you are planning to go there this week (or next year in 2019) is to reach there as soon as they open in the morning because just after 2 hours of opening, this place will be packed , specially during weekend. We were there at 9 AM and could see the fields without much crowd and got photos without photobombinngs, but by 11 AM, I could see there were lots of people inside and there was a traffic line of cars waiting to even enter the parking lot!
It is a great place for a day out with family, spend time among cheerful tulips and enjoy everything mother nature has to offer!
This Who What Wear Birdcage Midi Skirt is 100% cotton, has pockets in the front and fits true to size, I am wearing size 6 here for my 28 inch waist. The Evelyn Macrame Sandals are one of my favorite purchase this Spring as they go with everything and really comfortable right out of the box. These yellow pom pom earrings I'm wearing are super light, look so summery and cheerful and cost $10!
